It sees CO but does not CO2 for the amazon device but then again at this price range, it's hard to beat, especially if you already have other amazon devices.

And all these devices require you to have Wi-Fi on all the time? I was thinking I'd like to set it up so we can turn off the Wi-Fi most of the day, especially when sleeping.
Don't know about purple monitors, but I just installed one of these Amazon monitors. It works with the Alexa app. Once installed it's working fine, but I had a hell of time installing it. The wifi on it is 2.4GHz only. I have a Ubiquiti dual band network which should theoretically work since 2.4GHz only devices are free to connect only to that band on the access point, but nope. Once I figured out that was the problem, I just had to manually set up another virtual 2.4GHz only access point which solved the problem. It wound up solving the same problem I was having with my Ecoflow River, so I dunno, maybe it's an issue with the Ubiquiti configuration. Just something to be aware of if you're having trouble getting it set up.

Keep in mind these are not lab instruments, they are not extremely accurate. Good enough for household use.

It reads ug/m3, instead of aqi, keep that in mind when you read the pm2.5 if you want to compare to official epa readings.
