The regular Hero11 Black is also 30% off for $350, matching the lowest Amazon price (according to camelcamelcamel). GoPro will likely release new models in September. Also, Insta360 released an impressive competitor with the Go 3. But these GoPros are excellent deals.

4.4 is not a great review score on Amazon. There has been a lot of customer dissatisfaction with recent GoPro models.

That has been the case with EVERY GoPro model that has come in the past decade.

Remember this version is only barely lighter (4.7oz vs 5.5oz) and you lose gps, the screen, removable battery, no hindsight, no photo mode, no webcam mode, no stereo audio, no media mod compatibility, no shortcuts for filming settings, and you are forced to use the app for things.

The Hero has been $350 on GoPro's website. The MSRP on GoPro's website is $400 while the MSRP on Amazon is $500.

I'm sitting on 40% off amex promo and I'm still waiting for this to drop below $300

GoPro still has the full size Hero11 on their website bundled with an extra battery and 32GB SD card @ $299 for those with a GoPro subscription. Still the best current value proposition IMHO.

I'd rather go with the Costco bundle for $339.99.

there are a lot of youtube videos comparing the 2. Insta360 Go3 has a pretty good stabilization but only goes up to 2.7k. i like the Go2 better, although it has limited capabilities, but after i film, i can flip the device and keep it in its protective shell and put it in my pocket not worrying about the screen getting scratched. i like doing short 2 to 3 min videos so the go2 was perfect.

Nice.

No removable battery is a deal breaker for me. I use it as a dashcam so for long trip if it won't last then there's no point.ā€‹

How would this compare to the GoPro Hero 9? In the market for something while scootering.
