I recently got both the xl version of this one (the 12 cup) and a breville sous chef 16 pro for a crazy deal - both new.

Anyone know if the breville or the ninja xl is better?

I got the Ninja blender with 2 jars and a nut butter jar from Costco last spring. I think I paid about $50 after coupon for it. The damn blade unit cracked in 2 months. Costco didn't have anymore in stock for a replacement and they wanted me to wait or return. Since it was in coupon I waited as support suggested to wait a year for they might bring it back this summer spring (seasonal item) and it hasn't come back. Now unsure if I should return it and buy something else.
