Is this worth it over the G403?

How durable is this? It looks fragile.

Don't buy this. The 502X is out now, with opto-mechanical switches, and is WELL worth the difference in price. I've had several 502s, and they all crap out when the mouse buttons start registering double clicks when you click once. I've since switched to the 502X and had no further issues.

Gaming and Wireless are words I don't understand in proximity to each other. You can get the wired version any day of the week in Staples for $50.

My G502 lightspeed still working fine for the last two years, but if the switches do go bad I have been forwarded this simple fix will resolve the double click issue:

Your definition and mine clearly vary on the "simple" part.

In any case, my 502 was great (both of them) up until the day it wasn't. The 502X has been superb.

Wireless mice these days are imperceptibly different from wired mice. Even pro gamers will use wireless mice like these as they are excellent.

This has been my all time favorite mouse since the very first one released. I'm incredibly biased with the G502's. I love how heavy this mouse is. It fits my hand perfectly and I have a hybrid claw grasp.

I've never had to deal with the double click issue that others seem to get.

I have 5-6 wired ones, new in box, just sitting around since you can find them as low as $35 on sale from Best Buy or Amazon and I will use these for the rest of my life.

I have this mouse and there's no concern at all about latency compared to wired versions. The LIGHTSPEED tech is great as long as you have the USB dongle facing towards the mouse. It's been reliable and durable with thousands of hours of use.

I also have the g502x and love that mouse as well, but surprisingly find it much more noisier with the clicks, so that's something to consider. Though it is my current one!

I had one and it's great when it's not double clicking. Experienced double clicking within a couple months of owning.

The 502x hasn't been out long enough to determine if the issue is actually fully resolved.

Aside from that mice are arguably a consumable item. It doesn't bother me replacing it every few years.

Is the 502x wired for 58 a good price? I don't know the usual sale price for this.

Thanks for the link. I didn't know double clicks can be fixed. Finally, a plus for a hoarderlaugh out loud, I have 7 Logitech gaming mouses to fix. Although requires some works, great little project nonetheless.
