All their Apple product returns go through a special process and it is the slowest return process I've ever seen. This is exactly what I'm experiencing on an Apple Watch they received over 2 weeks ago. At least your information makes sense & explains extensive time. I did a chat & a call & neither knew about this process

They let you bring it to UPS again? When I tried to return AirPods several months ago, Amazon said UPS pickup was my only choice. I found many reports from other people who had the same complaint. Amazon said this is policy enforced on them by Apple.

UPS pickup may seen convenient, but that's if you trust leaving your package outside for the day or if you have luxury of being able to stay at home so you can hand it to them when they come. You also have little choice in pickup time, and there's a limit of 3 attempts before they stop.
