Last time I did this type of promo on xfinity, they charged me the full price with tax but credit is without tax so you end up paying for tax. Never again.

Yeah the way they were doing it was really stupid, they would charge you 12.99(or whatever) and then give you a 12.99 credit, But the more recent ones just show up as 0.00.

Xfinity stream sucks. I bought a $1 movie for my xfinity rewards credit I had and the streaming was so horrible that I will never do it again. My Amazon fire works 100 times better.

How recent? The taxes (on the full purchase price before credits) didn't seem to appear on the bill at least until a day or two later.

Ha! Gotta love Comcast. If there's ever an issue, they'll keep you on the phone for at least 30 minutes...the first time...and you'll usually have to call back multiple times.

To make up for that, they'll "Reward" customers....with a movie that is 27 years old? Gosh, thanks. Instead, how about a credit on my bill as a "reward"?

Hmm, I don't see it anymore. I think I saw it 7/10 or 7/11 but didn't redeem. I got an email on 7/12 saying you can redeem until 7/16. But today 7/13 it's gone.

So dunno if it's got a small (or relatively small) redemption limit...if so, best to redeem the upcoming movies as soon as possible after they become available.

EDIT: It showed up again the next day and I was able to redeem the free movie.
