YouTube reviewers love this TV, but rtings has not finished it's testing.
rtings must be extorting tv makers before releasing results (sony, tcl) at the moment.. normally results dont take this long to publish... i noticed this same delay prior to the x90k's results a year ago..
Hisense U8K is on sale for $100 less. QM8 appears to outperform U8K, but just saying there might $100-200 more wiggle room in this price if you're willing to wait.
Even though the TCL appears to be the better TV this year, there is usually price parity between the two.
I've watched all the YouTube reviews and most have the QM8 and U8K as pretty close, with a slight edge to the QM8. We're still waiting for Rtings. Digital Trends (probably my favorite tv reviewer) raved about the QM8 and was going to review the U8K but had technical issues and had to exchange it. They should have a U8K review up soon. Except for panel lottery, most people should be happy with either one.
FOMO likes the Q7 almost as much as the QM8, in case someone needs a cheaper model.

Rtings.com does much more through testing then your typical YouTube reviewer. It's perfectly logical that it takes them longer.

I thought the reflection handling for the U8k looked better from the reviews. It definitely had an issue with dynamic tone mapping, but with dobly vision did fine. U8K has the edge for me and hope they release firmware improvements. Question I have is U8K /QM8 vs an OLED from last year like the LG G2. Seems pretty close
