Yep, I've had the same observation. I've installed a few manual Luxe bidets for family I got off Amazon for like $50 and also bought a $350 electronic bidet. The manual Luxe bidets from Amazon have crazy pressure, you can blast it to give yourself an enema if you want. The electronic one is okay but no where near the pressure of the manual bidets. I believe it's because the manual ones simply use the water pressure from your home's plumbing whereas the electronic bidets have to warm the water first then use a built in pump to spray you off. The built in pumps the electronic bidets use are normally not super powerful so weaker water pressure than your home's plumbing.

The electronic bidets I've read that have the most pressure is the bidebidet models BB2000 and older BB1000. The only issue is the customer support from biobidet has seem to gone downhill recently based on amazon/online reviews. Also, alot of people complain about their quality not up to par like Toto. I like the Toto K300 the most for an electronic bidet but their warranty is only 1 year and water pressure is just okay.

Any idea if it's cheaper in-store or even available in-store?

If it's the toto washlet with the remote costco sold last year, you can double tap the rear button for a intense blast

Amazon has some used in good condition for $270 😅

This does pulsating blast when you double tap it. Our guest love it very much. My wife's friend said that it's not only eco friendly, but it's hemorrhoid friendly as well

This or the toto
Toto by far. Bio Bidet makes the least reliable bidets on the market. I bought two and they both broke in less than a year, with one flooding a bathroom when no one was home. Many of the important parts of Bio Bidets are made from cheap plastic. You can read previous Bio Bidet posts or the Bidet subreddit (there's a subreddit for everything haha). They're the main brand that everyone says to steer clear of. Toto is the best/most reliable brand, with Brondell being a close second.

Pretty sure bidets aren't meant to get rid of the use of tp lol.. You use less tp for sure and it's cleaner.. Also I've had the 6800 for years now and it works just fine.

No, these don't have enough pressure to completely replace toilet paper or even wet wipes. I am not sure what everyone is eating, or what kind of dietary habits they have that lets them get away with these bidet's but I am not very satisfied with these. They are nice like pre-wash but they only cause you to use more TP because they soak up all the moisture from your bottom on first wipe.

Manual bidets $25-$50, have much more pressure, I was surprised that $200 bidets even $350 Toto that I bought from Costco does not have enough pressure to give you a clean enough bidet experience. It's just me, but then again that's my observation.
If only costco had them on user testing before buying it. Would come handy after eating the assortment of the all the samples at store. Wink

Would you mind clarifying which model you're referring to (there seems to be a lot of choices} I'm interested in trying one for the main bathroom. Thanks

Does one stop using toilet paper with this innovative marvel of technology and science?

TP is getting very expensive even at the wholesale clubs.
You still need TP because the dryer functionality sucks in these bidets. Also, the cleaning takes at least 3 sprays. You can't clean your butt with just one. You really need to get in there with the water. Once you're done, sit for another 30 seconds to let water drip. Wipe water with TP. You still use significantly less TP overall. I get TP every 4-6 months at Costco. Beats getting TP every month.

Have this bidet that came with the house. I'm pretty sure it was defective as it was overloading the circuit it was on (lights pulsing). I'm not an electrician but reading that ideally you'd want a dedicated circuit for these bidets. Anyway I just purchased a Toto to replace this POS cause I can't live without a heated seat anymore.

Sounds like people know the solution but no one wants to say it.... these dude have harry butts and they need to shave them. The poop is clinging to their hairs like a Kangaroo baby to its mother. What seems obvious to some people, can be borderline rocket science for others. Some one had to say it. Censored3

Yeah, it would be wise to putt TP in your bathroom. Don't remove it completely. I think some people think you don't have to use TP ever again or something.

Am I the only one who hates remotes on the bidet? My first one has a remote and I made sure my second one had built in controls.
