Considering they jacked their prices up prior to Prime Day, this ain't such a great deal after all.

4k @30hz so not really 4k by modern standards. The one at 60hz is a lot more expensive.

They really try to hide this information.

We should know by now that we aren't going to pick up something like this for <$20 if it outputs 4k@60hz, but thanks for digging through the specs to affirm that this is only 30hz.

Hardly anything decent quality supports 4k @ 60hz for cheap, it's hard find until the price of the hardware manufacturing goes down

I got the Hiearcool one that is almost identical to this. On their product page, its $19 and says upcoming sale in 12 hours

What brand did you get? I have two of these dongles I use with my Steam Deck and they both intermittently lose HDMI video or sound signal at times, so I'm looking for an alternative.

I just picked up the Anker 332 from the deal the other week so I hope this one is inferior.

I paid $15 for one that does 4k @ 60hz. 6 months working fine trouble free

Here's one for $10 https://www.amazon.com/Cakitte-Mu...86&sr=1-27

Prime day is actually more expensive for many items especially third party no-name companies

For example the 15" external monitors that were $60-$70 a month ago are now a "deal" at $100 LOL

I have a version of this and it's great. My favorite thing is that it works with cellphones (at least my S22 Ultra), makes reading USBs and footage from my dash cam super easy.
