I ended up cancelling the Samsung and got WD_BLACK 2TB SN850X based on your recommendation haha. Now to add a heatsink to it.

Ordered one. This drive is the one to get if Bitlocker is used. Otherwise the WD SN850X at $89.99 is the better buy.

Including the heatsink is a double edged sword, no longer fits in most usb enclosures without prying it off.
