just bought 2 with combo of the amex 40% off (yes just a max of $60) but drops to $140 each pretax.. there's also a 5x pts on same amex (max $320). hope the combo helps others!

At some point was there a higher than 'normal' failure rate with some of these? I thought I remember reading a little about that. If so, has the cause of that been fixed?
