always get the bigger/longer one. The worst cases scenario is you wear your watch a little bit higher than your normal. If you get the shorter one and you don't fit, you can't really do anything to make it longer. ( I mean still you always have option to return

Rumors are series 9 wont have any major feature upgrades aside from processor speed and idk what apps/etc... people are running that would require a much better chip on their watch. Other benefit is a small improvement to battery life with the new chip.

Series 7 prices are also a little bit more than this price so even better of a deal.


Also GPS vs GPS+Cellular - If you have an iPhone and carry it with you then theres no reason to get Cellular. GPS version works to receive incoming messages+calls on wifi as well. I'm sure there are other use cases but the only time I don't have my phone on me is when I'm out for a run and it will still log your steps+distance/route and you can download music to your watch before the run. Main benefit would be for contacting emergency services while you do not have your phone nearby, or I suppose getting texts etc... while out on a run.
