Good price. Have owned this renewed blender bought at the same price 6 years ago and it started smoking recently and struggled to blend. Replaced the Vitamix container with a stainless steel one and now it's working again like new. Must've been the blade attachment getting stuck and rusted.
Am I missing something or is this crazy cheap?
Edit: after some more searching looks like it's regularly at this price.
Yes. It's the noisy plastic frame counter-dancing short warranty Explorian which Vitamix bills as "an introduction to Vitamix". Buy it direct from Vitamix as renewed if you want it and add the extra Vitamix factory warranty or hold out for the far superior Next Generation such as the 7500 or Pro 750 which have been on sale for about $100 more new not reconditioned. Others prefer Ascent and its 10 year warranty.
Container i.e. blending jar: The 64 oz low is best for most folks. It can blend 1-1/2 cup batches just fine as long as the blades are covered with water. Next Gens can run nearly every jar including stainless, wet/dry, aftermarket, self-detect, and many commercial jars. No need to purchase the old 5200 just to get the tall narrow base jar which some prefer. Ignore Vitamix site jar compatibility list to maintain your sanity.

The cheapest Vitamix I seen was $125 at Target clearance ymmv.
I still prefer the $50 Oster 1200 than Vitamix E320. Vita you have to wear earplugs cause it so loud, loss of hearing is an issue without the sound shield on some models.

Project Farm on YT clearly shows why Vitamix is far superior to a $50 Oster.

Though, amazon lists this as 1400w, but the e310 should be 1471. So, not sure how equivelant this is.
Highly recommend
