At least your uncle is enjoying deep black levels and no blooming. Most days I wish I still had my Panasonic plasma.

I have a home theater with 7.2 Surround Sound and while the picture may be close streaming the sound is far inferior to that from actually playing the 4K discs.

Missing my plasma is why I adopted early with OLED. And have since upgraded again. Zero complaints and recommend to every person who uses a TV.

Just the films. They are 2k upscaled to 4k and many people say there is DNR and edge enhancement applied.
