The best, probably not, as some can argue the Intel vs AMD when it comes to gaming as well as the laptop have RTX 4060 while there is RTX 4070 and RTX 4080 out there for laptops. It also do not have the 500 nit screen.

But for those that want as latest as possible of offering in terms of CPU from AMD, as 7x4x ones being the Zen 4 architecture, with USB 4, and not offered by Asus, that part will be personal preferences to each of their own, while as close to $1000 as possible, then yeah, this will probably be as close to best as it can be at the moment and at this price point until some other better offering comes alone.
