Bought one a few hours ago with a side of WD Red+ drives that's are also on sale for Prime Day. This one will replace my DS1512+ that is no longer receiving updates from Synology (left to die on the vine). Thanks!

Did they remove the cloud feature when they ended the updates? Cuz for WD EX2 they did and I'm bummed from that.

Bought one but might cancel, going to use 20TB drives so 8 bay probably better since want to use SHR-2.

Just avoiding planned obsolescence just because of software updates. Not expecting new features but critical security patches.

Worst case scenario, community support or something.
