FYI, the opencomm has issues with MS Teams meetings (if you are using it for work).
When mic is muted you'll get a repeating beeping noise every 5 secs. (really annoying)
The only way to resolve this is buying an additional AfterShokz USB dongle ($50)

My Open Run does this so they all must do that. Very annoying

opencomm uc seems to be up to $139, which is still a decent price, but at $125 it was a steal. Still would rather get the newest one in the Opencomm2 but it's likely to be $200 for a while since it hasn't even been released to the general public yet - only available for business purchases.

I was going to jump on the OpenRun Pro but I don't know if I can stomach a proprietary charger. I'm sure it improves the water resistance, but I've had decent luck with the older models with micro USB.

I don't hate the charger but yeah - it's annoying. I THINK the box came with two so I keep one at home/car and one at work. Replacement cables can be found on Amazon 2 for $7 so not too expensive.

Thanks for the input. I don't really care about the cost, it's really more the hassle with travel. And, if you forget the cord, as I did with the proprietary(ish) charger for my smart watch, it's not like you can run out and get another one.

And I'm still really happy with my Aeropex. I had two (one for work, one for home/travel)... one seems to be missing so I've been considering getting another. I'm in no rush though, so I'll wait and see what else comes out.

I wonder if they could swing building wireless charging into something like this. That would work for me as well.
