This is actually a hot deal because it includes a bezel. I've been hemming and hawing getting a 55" for months so I know what these go for. Until today, the best price I've seen was around $1,000 for a 55", but the bezel adds $200. I just bit- bought the 55" with the white bezel for $987- that's like getting the TV for $787. The bezels rarely go on sale.

Update: it also included "scheduled inside delivery and unpack", which is awesome because I only work from home one day per week so I was able to schedule the delivery to happen when I'm actually home for it, instead of risking having it sitting out in the rain.

This is not the same as your TCL tv. This has an anti reflective screen and legitimately looks like a painting on the wall. Quality is okay but youre paying for the aesthetics here.

This is actually a hot deal because it includes a bezel. I've been hemming and hawing getting a 55" for months so I know what these go for. Until today, the best price I've seen was around $1,000 for a 55", but the bezel adds $200. I just bit- bought the 55" with the white bezel for $987- that's like getting the TV for $787. The bezels rarely go on sale.

These TVs look awesome but they are trash. I went through 3 of them ordering directly from Samsung. 2 came with broken/dead pixels and 1 was DOA on arrival. I had to get my credit card company involved so I could get my money back because Samsung Support stopped helping and then they accused me of not sending the TV back. They are always selling refurbished models on woot and other outlets. IMO stay away.

Does anyone know how big the plastic piece is on the end of the One Connect wire? Trying to figure out what size conduit is needed for through the wall.

I really wanted the 32'' version of this until I read of how hard it can be to conceal the "box". That messed up my plans of having this mounted above a gas fireplace.

I think it's just beyond 1.5", like 1.6. Or just beyond 1.0, like 1.1". At any rate, finding a conduit to fish this through sucks, I had to split mine with snips to install behind a wall. Cable isn't behind the wall rated but i guess you knew that if you're asking this question.

The anti reflective screen. I have mine opposite a window and you can't tell

Sits absolutely flat on a wall to further give the illusion that it's framed art.

This TV is designed to be flush against the wall, has a matte screen, and has bezels that emulate a picture frame. If you don't care about that, then no, there aren't any benefits since it's a mid-range TV otherwise. It's purely for aesthetics. That said, I love how mine looks on the wall and would definitely do it again.

Also - the 32" is only 1080p not 4k. I found that out the hard way 😅

I haven't experienced this highly-praised matte coating myself, but I use things like Unsplash and Apple TV screensaver-style videos as art sources so I'm not trying to disguise the display as a painting. Wall-mounted a Q60 for a fraction of the price and standard VESA mounts for fewer future headaches.
