I just did the same. Basically, they're letting you stack the special prime day discount with the subscribe and save discount.

Earlier today, I got the 60-pack of Churu [a.co] for $16.64 using the 50% off subscribe and save. Didn't know about the trick of stacking prime day and S&S coupons! No going back now, but $16.64 is a great price for 60 of these.

I ordered the 60-pack yesterday and was successful in cancelling a moment ago and re-ordering to get the stacked discount, in case you want to give that a shot.
