The wired version is fine but holy cow.... have u ever tried drawing something over Bluetooth. Its like having phantom limb syndrome, but for drawing. You cant tell where u put the pen down sometimes, cause it wont show up until significantly later.... Anything that requires human input should never use bluetooth.

"One by Wacom" is 2048 levels of pressure sensitivity;
Wacom intuos is 4096.
Thanks. Would either of these be good if I don't draw/create but am learning to retouch/edit photos? Or are they overkill?
Edit: I went out and Googled it. Looks like something like this would be useful. Thanks, to the moron who gave me a 'thumbs down' on an honest question.

How is this for taking hand written notes in Microsoft OneNote or a similar application? I have been looking for a solution to digitize my hand written notes.
My Logitech mouse can use "Lightspeed" USB dongle or BT. BT is unusable on a 43" display for daily work. Keyboard on BT might be okay as precision is different.
What are the differences between this one and the "One by Wacom Small Graphics Drawing Tablet 8.3 x 5.7 Inches" other than a slight size difference? That one is cheaper... is it not as good, if so why, etc.?
The Wacom one is the newer "entry level" tablet -- it has the 2k pen (about 2048 pressure levels) versus the 4k pen with double that on the Intuos..
The Intuos also has the 4 buttons at top (these are nice if you use stuff like Photoshop so you can map keys to them to help with zooming, cloning, moving the screen, etc..), Wacom one doesn't have any
The free bundled software in the Intuos software is pretty decent whereas the One doesn't have much of it.
Depending what the price difference is.. the extra levels are nice for digital artists but wouldn't make a difference for photo editing.
The bonus software is nice and actually somewhat decent (at least some of it)
And the physical buttons are a nice benefit to have so you don't need to have one hand on the tablet and another on a keyboard

I've used the bluetooth version and it's impossible to use. I don't recommend it at all.
I've used a Intuos (now called Intuos Pro) years ago with a 2.4 GHz wireless module installed and the latency wasn't that bad. My experience is the same with wireless mouse. 2.4 GHz >> Bluetooth as long as you don't plug the dongle in a USB 3 port. 😉
Of course, the wired version is the best.
Yeah a dedicated 2.4ghz signal is always faster and more stable than a bluetooth transmission

Pretty noticeable on bluetooth mice, theres always like a dragging delay on when u first start moving the mouse and when it stops, on keyboards you'll notice it when you type fast enough, if you type too fast there will be points where words or letters dont load in until after you've finished typing a sentence. People who type slow prob wony realize it on keyboard.

It will definitely work, but you'll need to get used to looking at the screen while writing/drawing on the tablet. Artists have been doing this for years, but I'm not sure about the general public. The Cintiq series solves this problem by having a monitor built-in, but they are more expensive.
I have one of these and it's very bad for the price, even at $40. If you need this for art, the ones on Monoprice for around the same price are very decent.

I'd imagine having a low refresh rate monitor makes it even worse and vice-versa.

Small is small, but medium might be bulky when considering resting your hand on the tablet.
I think $40 is good value. Bluetooth works with no issues. Pressure and hovering is good too.
