It's better to have the 4-5 week wait period to see where prices go. If it goes up keep the order. If it goes down further then cancel the order and buy lower. There's no drawbacks to longer wait times as long as you don't need it immediately.
They are not saying they have them in stock. It says Estimated Availability : 4-5 Weeks

Hey WD, how about finishing processing my order of this SSD from 2 days ago before saying you have more in stock? ordered 7/11/23, my order is still 'processing' on WD order status page as of today 7/13, 1pm pst.

just thought I'd give others a heads up that they may see delays if they order (at least that has certainly been my experience so far.)

I stand corrected. thanks for pointing that out. The way SSD prices are dropping, I'm not sure I'd want to wait 4-5 weeks. if that's what it winds up being for my order that I placed 2 days ago, I'll likely cancel.

How long is western digial back ordered? I got 12 percent off using paypal but if its a month out, I rather buy it from someone else. Edit I got my local Best buy to price match it and canceled my online order, I got the last two.
