Well, not really. You may need 12v-14v, but bigger vehicles need more cold cranking amps. I don't know what this unit supplies as cranking amps, but the mah is a good size battery bank. Personally I keep a super capacitor jump starter in my car that way I don't need to worry about it staying charged. It uses your low battery to fill up its caps. Capacitors can dump their charge much more rapidly than a battery. So it can jolt your car to start it. Car batteries are only used for a short jolt of power then it relies on the alternator. If you want to power something for longer then you would need a deep cycle marine battery or just a different battery chemistry.

edit: This is what I bought.

It's 44,400mWh not 44,400mAh. Lithium battery have 3.7v so 44,400mWh/3.7v = 12,000 mAh.

Solid jumper for sure. I got the similar one with an AC plug. Handy. It does not do high speed charging (of small devices), but turns an engine over strong. Nice OP!

The color and pattern looks like this something a person with long impractical nails would appreciate on a jump starter.

You need volts to jumpstart a car, not MaH. Gonna avoid this one.

Have one of these, and used it to jump our expedition a couple of times before getting the new battery in it. Solid jumper for sure!

IME small jump starters have a decent early failure rate. Beware of 90-day warranty.

I bought this in May (In NYY blue!) Smilie. I hesitated because I have AAA and years ago, some AAA guy told me these small jumpers aren't strong enough, don't last . . . etc. . When faced with rescheduling a full day of meetings so I would be available for AAA, I decided to give this a try. (price convinced me!). Car started right up! Unfortunately, would not start again once I turned the car off. (Turned out to be the alternator. . Frown) But it saved me at least two calls/waiting for AAA and I had the confidence to drive to the mechanic and not worry what would happen if the car stalled. After 3 jumps - it was still charged. Worth every penny!!! woot

Good catch! It seemed way too small for 44,000 mAh, tricky and misleading. Good price for the product though

Girlfriend has one of these that she was gifted from a coworker. Enough to jump her car and my old truck.
