Only disappointment is battery. I get around 4-5 hours with basic use on about 50-60% brightness. Everything else is top rate. I can easily slip in a some light gaming like Fortnite at around 80-100fps on medium settings at 1080p.
SSD is not 2280 but 2242. Not going to be cheap to upgrade SSD IMHO. Just checked, available but somewhat limited and somewhat more expensive, 1TB approx 100.
Man I bought 3 16" laptops recently (LG, Lenovo & Acer) and returned each one. Mix of AMD/Intel, ultrabook, 2-in-1 and "creator" with dedicated GPU. All had at least one fatal flaw—battery, keyboard, or screen not as bright/fast as I wanted.
At this point, I'm holding out for more Phoenix APUs. 7840U/HS or bust.

Is this still an issue? You would think Lenovo would have fixed it. Does it apply to ideapads in general.

IIRC, their Yoga line also had this issue.
