This thing should be $600 max by now. I paid $480 for my last Alienware monitor and will not pay more for 4 more inches. And honestly I was a bit disappointed by it. No PBP, it had HdMI 1.4 so you had to use the single DP on it for 100/120hz, not even cross hair feature for gaming, the stand is WAY too big and takes up half my desk because they wanted some aggressive spike design with it, ton of IPS glow, and it sometimes flickers.

Has anyone tried using this with a PS5?
While I'm sure it will work, this none tv standard resolution format and would be wasted.

34" vs 38" no comparison. I've been using this monitor for 3 years. I've tried replacing it a few times and have not found anything better. I even had the 32" 4k 240hz Neo……..I returned it.
The Neo g8 32" 240hz curved monitor the 4K one was garabage. Picture quality looked muted

I've been using this monitor since it came out. Beautiful screen with pretty accurate colors. If you want oversaturation then this one isn't for you unless you muck with settings.
When it came out they were backordered so I was told I wouldn't get mine for 1.5 months. Well after 3 phone calls to their support they refused to change the 30 day return policy which starts when you buy it so I told them to cancel the order. I wasn't sure if I was going to like it and it was a big purchase. Then 1.5 months later it shows up anyways. I called them twice for a return label (all the calls to Dell are minimum 45 minutes) and left it in the box for 2 months because I didn't want to get charged. I never received a return label. After that I figured it was their late Christmas gift to me for all the hassle and time spent on the phone with them. Very generous of them.

That's amazing glad it worked out for you. So overall you're happy with it and you would pay $800 for it today?

I was ready to pay $1200 back then. I think it's worth $800 now. I agree with the above poster, 38" is the perfect spot with a large screen without having to move my head to see everything. I have mine on a monitor stand so I don't use the large base which a lot of people said wobbled and this also allows me to have it further back on my desk.

What stand do you use if you don't mind?

Man you practically have me sold on it. I was holding out for the new monitors but at this price… it seems hard not to get it especially since you mentioned Diablo 4
I got it two weeks ago and the new Diablo pc build is ready next week…can't decide between 4070Ti and 4080…not sure I need the 4080, but was hoping somebody else could chime in. Changing to 4080 makes me change my planned SFF case (fractal torrent nano) as the aero 4080 white is a smidge too thick.

Think I can get it done on this monitor with a 4070Ti? I'm not a frame rate snob and wouldn't be against using sw tricks like DLSS and frame generation to get it done.

I'm torn between this one and the 34 Alienware oled. Anyone try both and have opinions? I love oled screens but I guess I'm wondering which aspect ratio works better for games like BG3, diablo4 etc.

I tried the Samsung g9 oled and it's just too big and the QC is awful.

Would this be a good pair for a 4080? Trying to get something not 1080p for it that will last a good bit.
