If you tip a fridge or freezer on it's side to transport, be sure to set it upright for minimum 24 hrs before plugging in.
also..i don't think this one is garage ready.. there is a insignia one at bb that is upright and garage ready and similar priced i think

If you've never used a fridge with no auto defrost before you're in for a treat. They're super annoying.

My current freezer is manual defrost. It is likely reduced to about 3/4 capacity due to the build up currently.

I like the drawers in this but wonder how well they function with manual defrost if you are lazy with upkeep like me.

Can confirm it's not garage ready, I bought one weeks ago, the drawers are great.

Not a Costco Concierge product. Only 90 day return window and then you'll have to deal with Hamilton Beach, which has been bad in my personal experience.

Got one of these during the July 4th promo, paid (effective price with discounts) $149 delivered for it. I haven't opened the box yet since I don't need it at the moment. I looked at it at the local Costco, it's very light and easy to move around (wouldn't be true if it's loaded with food of course). It's very basic, no digital anything, no fan or lights (I think) and I knew it was manual defrost when I bought it, but couldn't resist for the price. I'd think twice at $349 or $449 though. The one good thing is that it's so simple, there isn't much to break either.

Dang 149 delivered I would of bought it. Whoops... For that price.

This is a deep freeze. It will keep your meat frozen instead of thawing because of the auto defrosting that cycles temperatures.

We have it from Costco. Love it. The door is bit tight to open sometimes, but not a problem. Yes it is not garage ready but has found its space in a tight spot next to washer dryer inside the laundry room.

What discounts did you use to get it down to that price?

Edit: didn't see the previous comments, but tldr: got it with the promo buy more, get $ off.
