Tried these at full cost. Not worth it but I did enjoy it. At this price? Yep. Ordered again.

How do these compare to the hd600 for gaming? I had the 600 but the soundstage was way too narrow.

check out vzr model one. i own a pair. do your research on who the people are that made the company, they only have one product and it's a gaming focused headset.

i will never look for another gaming headset again.

just a heads up, i had to tame the mids and push the highs up ever so slightly to get a sound signature i enjoyed. the soundstage is incredible in gaming, especially with dolby atmos enabled.

Thx, but I definitely want open back. Those do look really nice though.

Gotcha, I love extended bass so I'm all about the closed back. These have the best soundstage of any closed back I've ever heard.

I had the HD660 and also had the HD600 at the same time. The HD660 as put by tyler from innerfidelity does not replace the HD600. It is similar to the HD600. It's a good headphone, but if you already have the HD600, it's not worth changing. If you want wider soundstage, you will need to move to the HD800S in the Sennheiser lineup if you wanted to stick with that brand.

Thank you. Any suggestions outside of Sennheiser in the sub $300 range other than the AKG 702? I just returned those due to the upper mids just making me flinch all the time.
