Curious if their 40$ bag of food is worth it versus Walmart generic bags, or is the higher cost justified?

Pretty sure pink slime and cornmeal mixed in with the cheaper stuff. Ingredient list tells you everything you need to know. If the protein isn't the first thing listed avoid it.

Looks like good food, but too low in protein and fat for my hyper active JRT. Thanks for posting.

Thanks. My dog eats her own poop, so I don't think I'm worried about pink or purple slime. The meat industry ended up making more money off of all of the unnecessary paranoia.

Now back to enjoying my soylent green.

Definitely a market for this. Going to buy a bag to see how my dog responds to not being fed pink slime. Maybe she'll stop eating her poop and sniffing other dogs' tails.

The camel site says the regular price of it is approx 55$, so they made a big coupon and jacked up the price to move up on sales rankings.

I feed NB LID… have fed chicken and brown rice as well as sweet potato and venison. Good dog food, no hot spots. I wouldn't call it affordable at $70+ a bag which is what it's been for like over a year, but I know some people who pay $100++ a bag and I can't do that. My dogs are fat and happy.
