Tbh, If color gamut and sharpness is your concern, your ultrasharp still wins. For work Dell, I only purchase the Ultrasharp series.

This is a good monitor for productivity and photo editing ...out of box color accuracy is good too in this price range ...same price in Dell...if anyone prefers the USB c version of this , that is also in Sale in Dell https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/d...ccessories

there's likely a glut of monitors from oversupply, wouldn't be surprised if they get cheaper.

Got it as an open box from microcenter on sale for 180 - great monitor with freesync so I can do basic gaming @ 60 fps locked most of the time...that said, more of a working monitor

Factory calibrated so it works well for that. sRGB gamut primarily (not that I'd expect more at this price).

Has IPS contrast issues but also IPS pros. HDR is obviously useless on this, as it is on pretty much anything not around the $1k price range, so that's not a con.

The stand and monitor are the easiest to assemble and disassemble that I've ever worked with (toolless as well) and they come with all the necessary cables and then some. Good selection of inputs (HDMI, DP, USB C). Also supports VESA mounts without a mounting plate, unlike the older Ultrasharps.

It's ultrasharp so it's not a gaming monitor but overall a good buy at this price. The price isn't really a sale though; they're commonly around this.

It's a good monitor. You can also get the S2722QC model which swaps out the Displayport for USB-C (65W charging, two USB-A hub ports) for $50 more, which maybe worth it to some people.

I got this monitor last week. I use it daisy chained to my 4k ultrasharp. Works great with my work PC. However, this monitor DOES NOT work well with Apple silicone. You can find a lot of comments about that online. I use it occasionally with my m1 macbook. Ultrasharp works without problems, this one goes blank for a second after a couple of hours of work. Still, if you are looking for a PC monitor, especially for work, this is a good deal imo. Don't forget Amex coupons for dell.com and Dell's price match policies. You can price match up to 30 days after purchase. I did it last week, no issues with a refund.
