dont make the mistake that many of us made in the past of stock piling these batteries as they will leak after about a year.

Free is not worth it for batteries that are pretty much guaranteed to leak and possibly ruin the device they're being used in.

It's not really free. Why. Because you get sucked in to use your rewards and you end up buying another item at a premium.

The batteries are macguffins. Leaking or not, or needed or not, they are still the best way to qualify for $20 ink recycling rewards with a $10 minimum required spend for the month.

useless rewards i must say. i stopped recycling inks. all straight to garbage. tired of buying stamps that keep going up in price but nobody wanted them. everything else is overpriced at officedepot. pricematching is a waste of time. not alot that you can pricematch and they always come up with something to void it.

It all depends upon your living and buying situation. My wife is constantly sending cards to her friends and our many relatives for biirthdays/anniversaries/Christmas/Easter/valentines/graduations/thank-yous/get-well/etc/etc. so there are lots of stamps being used every month. Plus, having a stash of Forever stamps is a hedge on inflation.
However, I agree with you that if someone seldom uses the US mail, and works in an office (and thus doesn't need to buy their own office related stuff), and lives in their mom's basement (and lets mom buy all the cleaning/bathroom products, etc.), then the rewards are quite useless.

You can literally buy 100 forever stamps on ebay for $40 to $45. And even if someone doesn't live in their moms basement, buying cleaning supplies at OD will cost you 3 times as much as buying it at walmart.

I've had them for many years through dozens of these deals. Never had leaky batteries.

1. Cheap postage stamps on fleabay are likely counterfeit from a shady seller. Not a good move.
2. Spending $15 (+tax, with typical price match) on these batteries and recycling 10 ink cartridges will get you $35 rewards and some batteries for your $15 (+tax) spend. Some people think that is a good deal; others do not.
3. Crap at Walmart isn't that cheap anymore.

This time of year is excellent for school supply deals. Pencils, pens, etc should be very inexpensive. I stock up right now on crayons for my toddler, or I buy stuff for donation.

YES duracell damaged several of my electronic items
Odd when i vote item down it stays at +5 but if i change vote to + it goes up to +7 ??
If you take your -1 vote away it goes up by one, if you flip it to positive it should go
Up by another 1 (a total of two)
