I find it hilarious that I post this exact product at this exact price a few weeks ago… doesn't get to the front-page yet it's already being pushed by staff https://slickdeals.net/share/iphone_app/t/16714451
Well the first part of your name is accurate...
I'm trying to mix half a scoop with a quart of nonfat milk so I can at least use it and it still ruins the milk. How could anyone like this sh!t ?

Price is tempting but some of those photos showing quailing control issues will probably push me to pass on this deal.

Good price though if the photos don't push you away.

Anyone use this regularly with no issue?

Edit: went ahead and did S&S 15% and it's shipped for $29.xx. Can always cancel before it ships.

To be a ripped animal such as myself you need proteins...I'll say Mustletech is better than musclemilk.

I can't speak for the chocolate flavor, but the vanilla was one of the worst tasting protein powders I've ever had. It tasted terrible as a shake, in food, in smoothies. I felt guilty but threw away most of a 5lb tub.

This doesn't have the thick texture like quest whey casein does after mixing. Tempted to buy it again due to the price but it different quality. Also chocolate flavor isn't as strong. I ended up re ordering since it's been awhile for a quest sale and this by default seems to be next cheapest whey- casein option. I use protein powder as a filler ingredient in recipes anyways, even if the taste isn't amazing.

I'm currently working through tubs of Muscle Tech Vanilla and Cookies&Cream. Both of them are 🔥 and I'm happy with this brand. The ones I have are labeled as Muscle Tech Nitro Tech...and I don't see the nitro tech branding on this featured product (take that for what you will).

But I just wanted to chime in to say flavors from this brand aren't all bad. In fact, the ones I tried are very good, even straight up with just water. I make ice cream out of them with my ninja creami and even started experimenting with protein coffee (both of which have been quite satisfying so far). I haven't tried chocolate, but I will when I get closer to finishing one of my 2 tubs.

Reviews mentioning the flavor being intensely sweet make me think that it's not for me.

Apparently I bought a vanilla version from the same brand 3 years ago. I remember that one being wayyy too sweet for me. Trying to get through the tub wasn't worth it, and I ended up tossing it without finishing it off. Hopefully the recipe has changed....

It sounds like a good deal for people who don't mind or enjoy that though.

i always love reading protein threads and have a good, hearty chuckle picturing all the big/jacked lifters/aspiring bodybuilders/gym rats complaining about the flavor of a supplement powder, like..are you in it for the GAINZZZ or not?

i mean i know how much of a drag it is to have to hit your macros and not get bored of eating the same food over and over again, and if it tastes great too then GREAT! you can have great taste and great macros, but rarely both. i'd still most of the time take any mediocre-tasting protein over buying plain and flavoring it myself, it's still only like 30s, 1min to chug a scoop with milk or water or coffee or whatever, i can live with that when the price is right.

..but, seriously, sometimes you just gotta shovel it down and get on with it. something something pain is weakness leaving the body LMAOLMAOLMAO

I've been working through 4 tubs of the regular milk chocolate whey from MuscleTech. It's definitely on the sweet side. At first it didn't bother me but switching between a few brands and having cut back artificial sweetener replacements for sugars overall, it's become a bit much for me. While it's cheap, I'll be switching to another brand moving forward partially due to sweetness.

YMMV (gut chemsitry) but this stuff makes me super gassy and in an unpleasant way. It doesn't irritate my stomach so much/cause any real discomfort to me, but let's just say the people around me notice it and not in a pleasant way. I'm switching back to Optimum largely for this reason which has a far minimized side effect of this for me for the same amount of protein, plus the sweetness is far better suited to my current palate now.

Yeppers, correct, just chug it down! Done that many times with mediocre protein, just to get my liquid meal in me! Lol!!!
