Now back on topic... I bought 3 of these levels on the same deal back in Feb.
If you really want to easily improve on them to make them far more versatile, just drill 2 small holes on the base of the level, roughly at the 1/3 an 2/3 marks, and epoxy in a couple of small (roughly 1/4 diameter or smaller) neodymium magnets, making sure they sit just a hair below the surface, and on opposite sides of the groove on the level. Then the level will hold onto any vertical metal/magnetic surface without needing your hands to hold it.
