I completely understand the sentiment but I'm really happy that it didn't overstay its welcome. A lot of anime series around this time (Trigun, Evangelion, etc) told their stories and then just got out while they were hot. And their legacies are even better for it

I remember obtaining the sound files off a Napster program ancestor back in college. Still got them somewhere on a CD or DVD thing that you mentioned.

I'll add a FX to a home video here or there that's from the show. The intro just gets your mind going creatively with those footstep notes.

On a different topic, but adjacent to my thoughts. The 007 soundtrack documentary on Amazon was very interesting. Worth a watch for those that like it and the theme music and stuff.
