Except.. mouse movements are almost never how the OS or apps determine user activity.....

Probably better that way actually. Give the people that buy these things a false sense of security 😁

Download AutoHotkey, can do this and much more for free. You have to either find an example of someone else's script though or write your own. Maybe I'm biased because I'm a programmer but it was easy to figure out.

Just download and run a video in windows media player, on loop, Once you start the video, minimize it and it wil continue to keep the PC "active".

the vast majority of people working on company-owned machines are not allowed to download and install autohotkey (or any program not sanctioned by the company). That alone would set off a red flag for their IT, if the download isn't blocked immediately. That is why a mouse jiggler is so good (and especially one that *isn't* plugged into the work computer for power).

We had someone in an IT adjacent role download it to their server backed up drive. It set off alarms (as a possible keylogger) and they were put on leave while an investigation was launched. It's banking industry so they took it very seriously lol

they should have fired the admin guy instead. he should never let that happen. anyone can install something to a backup drive? how did he even allow that?

We've added AI software that can detect mouse movements created by jigglers. Its great and saved the company money, we fired 4 deadbeats already.
