I have the cruiser and it's a great saw. Almost did not buy it because it did not have the laser but the shadow instead. It turns out the shadow is better because it will show your the exact curf of the cut including there the saw blade teeth will be. Compared to the laser that washes everything out with its light.

Nope, doesn't qualify for LSA.
I tried adding the saw and the sander separately. No discount. So it doesn't seem like you'd be able to return one of the items and keep the other, unless they take returns without receipts.

That said, this is a killer deal. I need a miter saw, and I very recently bought an EB4424 (the older version of this sander). So I may or may not be a little queasy right now. Oh well, at least I got the LSA on the sander, which is not applicable to the new model.
