This DeWalt planer is back on sale at Amazon today with free shipping. Matches the lowest price it's been this year at Amazon, and is a really good price for what is probably the most popular portable planer on the market.
If you prefer to purchase local, you can get Home Depot, Lowe's or whichever retailer you like to shop at, to do a price match as this is sold and shipped by Amazon. If they don't want to do it, just be persistent and have the stores price match policy on your phone. I'ver lost track of how many employees, and even the store managers, don't know that the companies policies are until you show them. I like to do this so I can get the 10% military discount in addition to the sale price at HD.
Lowe's won't give it to you on price matches on sale items unfortunately. Not even for their "New Lower Price" which is really only a temporary markdown.
