Edit: After second-look this is the exact same model that I got on Prime Day being delivered today. They were $30ish after discount then +$5 recycling fee and tax so $40otd. Based on non-prime day prices this is a decent deal. I'll update with some pros/cons of the one I get after receiving it.

Uses would be somebody traveling with a laptop but needing a second display for productivity, connecting directly to a headless server without needing a display/mouse/keyboard plugged in permanently. Playing video games while pooping. The list goes on.

You don't even bring up picture quality. Just resolution and refresh rate.
