Have a feeling that ceiling fans haven't changed much for the last 50 years, at least in external design.

The fan pictured in this Slick Deal isn't on sale till 7/29. Currently at $70.

I will only consider a DC motor. Done with AC loud motors that claim to be quiet.

Yes they have changed DC is somewhat new. LED integrated lighting as well is quite new and often with choice of light color.

I did not see these in the fans I looked at.

Same, except I am seeing only 20% off at $79.99. But I think there's another 10% off with email signup or something, but wont get it down to 50.
