I wish there were flags you could put on post, tagged if you will it's active date. And those slickdealers who wanted to see early deals before they live, ok. but those of us not wanting to be told before we can take advantage, it doesn't come up in our feeds till time.

FYI Severed Steel is also part of the Cyberpunk Playground bundle over at Humble Bundle right now in case that was a temptation to get that bundle it's nice to know it'll be free.

I get that some of you don't want to know about deals before they go live. For other people, it's nice to know these things so we aren't buying something today that will be free/on sale a week from now.

I also wish there was a middle ground to make everyone happy, but it doesn't seem like that will happen. In that case, I think it's better to have the information early. You could always set a reminder on your phone for the actual date of the sale/giveaway.

I don't know why people don't just setup a reminder (Google calendar, for example) - 11AM Eastern (adjust for your time zone) every Thursday, except during holidays when they give away a game a day for 2 weeks or whatever.

These early notifications have saved me from buying a game that will be free "aweekfromnow" more than once.

Thankfully the internet didn't run out of space and the front page still had enough room for "7.2-Oz Trolli Sour Brite Crawlers Gummy Worm Candy" for the 19th day in a row. Last too soon Epic freebee notification was in June when the front page was full of snow blowers and ice scrapers. Again, guessing we missed nothing too time sensitive.
