Some good prices. Of note: the Ludere is not itself smart. It has 2 hue bulbs in it. Otherwise it's just a fixture so you can put whatever bulbs you want in it. $45 for 2 Hue outdoor PAR38 bulbs and a free fixture, basically.

Good deal on the main Ludere light listed. I did a little research as I am looking for a floodlight. Make sure you cross-reference the actual Amazon prices because the Hue Discover is $140 refurbished on Woot or $120 new on Amazon.

I replaced two sets of Ring floodlights with the Ludere sets. I like the fact that the Ludere sets are Homekit compatible out of the box. They also can be dimmed. The fixtures also are minimal and clean looking. I have them controlled via a Hue motion detector, since the bulbs are smart but don't have any sensors.

I have some very early hue lights, that I bought through a person that worked for them for a great price. They have performed very well over the years and are the most trouble free smart home devices I've had experience with. I have one bulb that flickers when warm. They are expensive! Too expensive even for as good as they are. $32 each for a refurbished standard base color bulb. More than double most brands including the excellent tp-link Kasa. Admittedly I'm thrifty but I appreciate quality. I just won't willingly bend over to get it. A big issue to me was the forced upgrade to the 2nd edition hub. Forced by our friends at Apple to work with their home kit. I had to buy a hub just to continue use of my lights. No option to continue without apple compatibility just pony up. Discounts were offered in limited numbers, seems like if you had an old hub you should get a new one for free or at the least at the best deal. So phillips charges ridiculously high prices and thinks it's okay to screw their customers on unnecessary hardware upgrades. If I could go back and invest in a different system I would.

Sadly the recessed 5/6" downlight is the old model with 750 lumen instead of 1100.

I can't think of another system that would work as well. Pretty much the only piece of technology that has never failed me. And the lights last so long! I haven't replaced one hue light in over 7 years.

Best Buy has refurbs for $140. I got one of the same a long time back and it's been fine.

Oh, the Ludere Outdoor Security Light doesn't have a motion sensor, right?
