I bought this at the same price 6 months ago and love it. Although $250 is the most anyone should spend on a 2 year old model since software support doesn't last forever.

It's a decent price. But it is now the price. They intentionally raise it and lower it back every week to encourage these posts to advertise / to catch people in the mood to buy it.

Yes every time. They make money off other people posting links on their website it's their affiliate code just like if you click on a YouTubers affiliate link the YouTuber get paid, same way with Slickdeals and they don't even have to pay anyone, random people just post deals and sd makes the money for doing nothing.

Just traded in my 9th gen for the 10th gen iPad and have to say I like it better, or the Logitech keyboard case for the the 10th gen is much cooler with the 2 in 1 laptop/tablet design.

The 10th gen is bigger, has USB-C charging, and is the "Apple Brick" design like the iPhone 13/14 line.

The 9th gen is still good and fast but uses the design that Apple has used for awhile, little bit slower processor but not that much slower, uses lightning to charge, and can do many things that can replace most of what a $250 Gateway laptop at Walmart can do.
