I believe the other model also has a touchscreen. I think I would prefer this one.

Just wondering why you prefer non-touch screen. Is touch screen being too reflective? I'm leaning towards touch screen version but would like to hear your opinion. TIA.

I don't like using a touchscreen on a clamshell style laptop. I have a Surface Pro that works well as a touchscreen, but I rarely use the touchscreen when I have the keyboard attached.

People love to just look at specs, numbers, and benchmarks. In real world use, the intended audience for this laptop will never tell the difference between the 11th gen and 12th gen processors.

You can go submit an actual purchase date on Lenovo's site and the warranty will be adjusted. I used my eBay invoice to prove the purchase date.

i5 version has 1 year warranty, i7 has 3 year. I'd say go for the i7. You won't miss the extra $100 in the long run, but if you are like me, there is a higher chance of regretting that you didn't get the i7. Plus i7 will have better resale value if you decide to sell.
