I saw this on Friday. It was good but I thought the first third of the film could have used a fair amount of editing down. Also not sure this one benefitted from the IMAX format all that much either. Not a bad film but certainly not the modern classic some are making it out to be.

These were my exact same thoughts. The last hour was brilliant. But the first third seemed to really drag for me

like others said, 3 hours is torture. I want to watch a movie, not read a book. Way too long which ruined it.

That was more annoying than it should have been. Why isn't this offer in the app already. And why couldn't I copy and paste my Stubbs number from the app or apple wallet. I had to take a screenshot and use apple's photo to text capability to copy the number down.

The first half was great, then after the bomb went off it was all TALK TALK TALK and that to me could have been cut. They focused way too much on his "trial" rather than his lifes work or genius.

The only way to watch this is REAL IMAX screen that is in 4:3 format which it was filmed. Digital IMAX are cropped and looses the wow factor it was intended. I watched The Dark Knight in true IMAX it was crazy immersive.

Movie was good, not great. It was worth the ticket price but it tended to drag on a bit needlessly.
