I know S&H usually kills the deal, but their charge is pretty reasonable. It starts at $3.99, but ordering in quantity really brings the per unit price down: 5 will come to about $2.50ea (+tax), and 10 will cost about $1.89ea (+tax).

DynamicView™ 8K Ultra High Speed HDMI® Cables are the next generation of HDMI cables. Supporting resolutions up to 8K@60Hz and 48Gbps bandwidth, this future proofed cable just might be the last HDMI cable you'll ever need. DynamicView 8K Ultra enables the 8K and 4K resolutions with higher refresh rates, meaning sharper high speed content. DynamicView supports Dynamic HDR, meaning content will be able to take advantage of HDR's expanded contrast ranges, brightness levels, and heightened levels of detail, optimized on a scene‑by‑scene or even a frame‑by‑frame basis. This cable complies with the HDMI 2.1 standard, which makes it compatible with the latest hardware, including the PlayStation® 5, PlayStation® 5 Digital Edition, Xbox Series X™, and Xbox Series S™.

Linus Tech Tips reviewed cables and monoprice didn't do great. I'm all for cheap cables so as long as you're happy with 4k and not really expecting 8k I'd say probably worth it.

One thing to keep in mind is these are claiming full HDMI 2.1 bandwidth. They will definitely work for your 4K uses. If in however many years it takes you to upgrade. They don't work for 8k. You can always use monoprice's lifetime warranty on cables and get new cables shipped to you. (Or more likely just get credited the 99 cents per failed cable 🤷)

It said free shipping while I was checking out, even visible from the "cart" preview, but was charging me shipping. I still needed a few cables so I ended up getting 3 cables with $3.99 shipping, ended up being about $2.50 a cable shipped for 3 of them which isn't terrible.

I too bought three singles (not the three pack) and paid $7 and change with shipping. Will see how they hold up.

Not bad. Snagged 10 + $9 shipping for ~$2/cable. Only need 2-3 now but I'm sure it won't be the last time I want a 48gbps cable

Shame shipping goes up if you grab more than 3. I think 3 will do.. I'm always adding more devices.
Buying 5 actually ends up being more expensive than 3

What happened to the option to pick them up in person? I live nearby and that's always been my preference. This is the first time in a long time I've encountered an instance of "shipping kills the deal". I don't want to pay the same cost of my order for shipping....I'd rather just pick them up.

Geez. 45 cents tax on $1.98. I've never heard of 22% sales tax anywhere in the US. My county sales tax is at 7.5%.

It doesn't look like this cable is certified, so I'll pass.

I need to figure out what other cable I need. I may temporarily need to use my current old monitor with a future pc build where I need dvi-d to hdmi, but always confusing on hdmi what male vs female would be because I don't think I've even seen any side of any hdmi cable be female!

does ps5 have an hdmi cable in the box? do most tvs come with any at all? I need to figure out how many I need. Seems like the apple tv didn't come with one either, but I can't even remember. All of my hdmi cables are form before 2.0 came out, let alone 2.1 or 2.2.
