I bought two at $99. on what was probably a price mistake from Costco when a member her alerted to the deal. It was taken down in 2 hours. Free shipping too. Sold them each for $400. The thing with Bote is they are all about the heavy marketing, but are horrible with any warranty claim. They deny, delay, and tell lie after lie. This drop stich/high pressure seat has been out of stock on this model and another for 2 years with c/s telling people not in stock, but more coming next month. I know two fishermen using this same kayak, seats blew at the seams and no warranty replacement, but they continue to sell these complete. Avoid these Florida based liars. Go with companies that will take care of you: NRS, Aquaglide, Saturn, Sea Eagle, Advanced Elements.
These are much much better. The Tobin is extremely cheaply made. My buddy got one on clearance at Costco for 50 bucks and he still hates it. It tore his hands up because the included paddle is too short, and the kayak itself buckles in the middle under weight if you're a bit heavier, so you sit very low in it. This Bote kayak is more like a sit on top kayak because of the seat and the rigidity of the materials used.

Hope this helps.
My wife bought this with the intentions of using it with our 7 year old son and it turned out to be too small for 2 people. We did not add a second seat, just had him sit in front of her.
We ended up returning it to Costco and purchased a different Bote kayak.

Thanks OP. Had my eye on this for a while, and can't beat the Costco return policy. 🙌

Great price. Comes with paddle too.

Been wanting to try an inflatable for convenience. I have hobies and other rotomolded kayaks. Maybe this persuades me to go with a pedal drive inflatable.

Easy returns at Costco, make it a no brainer for me. Thanks for sharing.

Last month they were $99. on what was likely some price error. Some of us bought multiples with free shipping too. It was live for maybe 2-3 hours.

thank you so much. I need a 2 seater. It seems you can buy additional seats for this model

You could, but it's unlikely this length would be comfortable with two seats. They make a tandem version that's 12' that comes with two seats. Unfortunately Costco doesn't have that one on sale.

I paid $499.97 last year; from $699.97 and $899.99 before that.

What a steal.
