Bought this maker 3 years ago and have made countless pints of ice cream and dole whip since. I paid twice this amount and have zero regrets. Solid deal. This price will not last.

If you buy it, remember this has a compressor like an AC unit or any fridge. You have to leave it level for a day before turning it on after you receive it or you'll risk ruining the cooling unit if it was transported on its side or upside down.

I get the best results pre-mixing and chilling the mix, and letting the machine run for a bit to get to temperature before pouring it in (pre-run length depends on what I'm making but never more than 20m).

I usually make my mixes the night before and leave them in the back of the fridge, then I'll run 2 different flavors/batches back to back on a weekend morning. I have not had great success just dropping broken solid treats into ice cream while it is running (eg, Oreo bits or pb cup bits) and usually mix them in by hand right after I transfer the base into a container to put in the freezer.

Cleaning is easy as long as you don't overfill the mix and are slightly careful when pouring the mix into the bucket.

Im not sure how I'm making baseless statements. Maybe you interpreted my comment wrong??

The "insane price" comment is in reference to the ice-100. I have not seen this ice cream maker that low. The quality of this can be found in a simple Google search.

I then proceeded to mention that the ice-70 is on sale at the same retailer. Some people could benefit from that info. Just helping the community out.

This is an insane price for the ice-100

It looks like the ice-70 is also on sale at $99 at JCPenny. $89 with the coupon

In for one!!! I've been waiting for these to go on sale. My aunt has one and it's probably the best ice cream maker that I've seen besides the commercial ones inside the food trucks. Gelato with fresh peaches or strawberries = the yum. Also if you or family have lactose problems, this is your answer. Find recipes on lactose free ice cream and have 1000 more options than whats available in the grocery store.
Thank you OP!

This is an amazing price. I bought mine 6 years ago and probably have done about over 400 batches to test for kitchen production while at my home. Still going strong even after a shelf detached from my wall and my kitchen aid mixer fell on it.

DARN IT, I jumped on that QVC ice cream maker, decisions decisions. I really want to try out the QVC cause for under $50 it might be worth it but this is definitely the hands down quality product out of the two. Im going to hold and pray I like the QVC one.

QVC might be a rebrand of a cheap knockoff.

Do you actually have experience with both of them or have you compared their detailed spec sheets? Or are you just making baseless statements about price without knowledge of quality? If the MSRP is any indication of quality, the one OP posted is better. I'm not saying it always is, but when comparing two products from the same large brand, it is more often than not.
Someone posted the smaller version is also on sale and his comment is baseless? Maybe like other SDers, he's watched/read the reviews and has been waiting for them to go on sale like I have? Cuisinart is known for the quality of their ice cream makers, coffee
makers, etc. Do you have any links to the ICE-70 for $89 or cheaper? It looks like it's $149 everywhere else. It even beats the $129 price during Prime Days.

Hope they have this in stock when I stop by tomorrow. Would love to replace the pre-freeze bowl model I have.

See it's online only. In for 1. Thanks OP.
