I don't get the nit hate, I really don't like bringt screens and find myself dimming them often. I mean maybe if you are a starbucks sitter all day.

After buying the Alienware 17 I am returning it for this Lenovo. For one, I can't stand no numpad on the Dell. Too this Lenove while costing me about $150 more has better specs and a few other things I like:

This seems like a great deal - the reviews for this laptop are outstanding:

https://www.xda-developers.com/le...23-review/
https://www.digitaltrends.com/com...23-review/
https://www.notebookcheck.net/Ryz...942.0.html

I'm surprised this isn't getting more attention.

… I'm just waiting for the crowd of people to shun the screen with 300-nit brightness.

$1,044.38 pre-tax with military discount. Not bad I guess if I was in the market. My X1 Carbon from 2015 still has life in it

Nvidia did little trick this time around....

True 4080 became 4090
True 4070 became 4080

And so on...

So this 4060 should have really been called 4050

No, that may be true for the 4080 and 4090 but not the 4060. The 4060 laptop this generation is identical to the desktop variant. It has the same tdp as well.

I have such discount too.
However, I don't know how much different of this 300 nits from 500 nits
Also CB site is not 10% as it was yesterday, it's 2% now.

I'm in need of one, but I will hold on.
