Nice - I'm about to cancel the Dell Alienware m17 R5 AMD that I ordered two weeks back ~$899 with the discounts for this one. Screen was better on the Dell and it kept cooler, but can't pass up the 3070ti and 12700H on this. Hope it doesn't sound like a jet engine?

I have the older version with the 11th gen intel board and 3060 video card that was on sale at this price about 18 months ago from microcenter. its a solid laptop and will run most any game you throw at it, but yes the fans can get QUITE loud. That being said, its been a good machine for me and ive run the literal hell out of it

Thanks - the youtube reviews and those on the Microcenter site seem to suggest that the fans are very reasonable. Pulled the trigger.
Is this a legit seller? Is this a good config? Is HP a reliable gaming laptop? Please advice. First timer.
Yeah it's a reliable good gaming laptop. The screen will be wobbly, but outside that, everything about HP gaming laptop is good. They aren't the best, but they are definitely more than sufficient. Cooling will be loud as with ALL laptops running max GPU TDP on high demanding games.

It's a legit seller. There's a store by me. Always have good deals in store.
Same here. They have space for it. If they'd included it, I'd have bought this. Passing.
