My wife has learned to maintain our second vacuum and has replaced most of the parts at this point. Parts are low cost and easy enough to repair yourself.
There are two filters that commonly get replaced, but the hose eventually wears down, there were a few central components she's pulled out and replaced.
The red lift away has a great hardwood floor vacuum, the white version didn't work as well at hardwood, both clean the hell out of the carpets.
