Seems very solid specs and at least u can get nvme 2tb for sub $100 easy. I jumped on hp elitebook 16" in Jan for 760 and upgraded with 64gb d5 ram and 2tb nvme for 360.
I'd say this with nvme upgrade is better.

Well, at least you can upgrade a lot for very cheap. It almost certainly has another m.2 nvme drive in there.

Is the 5gpbs usb-c enough for connecting a hub with three monitors and a bunch of devices, including network to this device?

If this is anything like my Gaming Pavilion 16" from 2020 it's a pretty solid laptop. Mine had both a 2.5" sata bay and a m.2 slot. Despite what folks would say about the hinge failing, after daily use for 3 years I've had no such issue.

I assume you mean an extra slot.

I would imagine so, especially if the monitors support DP1.4. Most confident in 1080 but 4K could also be fine.

I wondered the same thing. According to Mathew Moniz the 4050 model has a 100w limit I don't seee why the 4060 version would be less…

100w limit too. This time only the 4070 and up don't have the added fake 100w limit.

It's worth noting tho that the 100w limit would only even be noticeable on a 4080 and up. Meaning even though the 4060 to 4070 have that 100w limit its not powerful enough to really affect it much

In 4 reviews including his I've seen 115W and 120W listed... ~100W is just the max that any 4050 will go due to voltage limits. The 4060 is similar in that respect and should be as fast as any 4060 you can get in a laptop.

All the reviews are for a low spec machine, with a 4050, Intel processor, and 1080p screen. This one is a very high end spec for the money. The chassis is budget, though decent.

Based on what? It's fine for me.

This is a very good display, fast response, great color gamut: 16.1" 2560x1440 240Hz 3ms 300-nits IPS, 100% sRGB

Prices coming back into reality. Previous generation 2060s/3060s hovered around $799. This is still somewhat overpriced but at least it's not $1200-$1300 like at the beginning of this year.
