So I live in one of those 3 story, 3 zoned homes with a geothermal in the attic. I bought 3 ecobee premiums recently but wondering if I should just have 1 premium and 2 lites instead. Anyone have a similar situation and went one way vs the other? Thanks.
What does the "Enhanced" model offer that the cheaper one doesn't?
Go to ecobee website, they have a comparison matrix of the current models: 3 lite, Enhanced (6th gen), and Premium (6th gen). The 6th-gen models have an updated refined physical design, larger display than previous gens, occupancy sensor, dual band wifi, and a few others. The Premium has several more features above the Enhanced.

Just got a new place, which is why I've been researching these. My plan is to use Lites combined with the remote room "smart" sensors. My thermostats are mounted in central hallways, where I don't really care what the temp is and not so useful to have the occupancy sensor there, so it's a waste to have the extra on-board features in the hallway. So I'm diverting that expense into sensors for the rooms.

Has anyone had issues buying new or open box on eBay and still getting utility rebates. Both of the ones I'd apply for have forms to fill out and upload invoice but no fine print on condition or retailer.
Are you playing games on it? I'm curious why the UI speed is a determining factor for purchase.
Any interaction is slow. Adjusting temps or schedules. This is at least a 6 year old device. Though I'm sure they will be porting minecraft and skyrim to it.

I saw a few posts on Reddit saying they got rebates with second-hand eBay units. I just submitted a rebate with one, so I'll report back what happens.

I'm doing the same. I bit the bullet on a "new' Ecobee Enhanced for ~$134 on eBay. Should total out to $34 after two rebates for me, if they go through. Pretty sure folks can get multiple rebates per year, and they don't check if the device is installed, hence the deflated prices on eBay of people selling below retail.
